About the Scholarship Fund

In 2010, the Radiologic Technology program suffered a loss of one of its junior year students who was attending the program for several months. The Kevin Tighe Memorial Scholarship Fund was started to sponsor a future radiology student candidate attending the Widener-Crozer Allied Health Program in Radiologic Technology. A selection committee has been formed to review criteria and to pick the recipient of this scholarship.

The scholarship, which is awarded to one newly accepted student in January and July, was implemented to financially assist a student candidate with textbooks while attending the two-year Radiography Program. While Kevin was unable to fulfill his goal in becoming a Radiologic Technologist, this Memorial Scholarship Fund will be dedicated in his memory, helping others to accomplish what he had started.
