PGY-1 Residents

  • Sidra was born and raised in Salisbury, Md. She pursued a biology major at Salisbury University. She left Maryland to attend Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she fell in love with Philadelphia. On her off time from the hospital, she loves to go find new restaurants to try out. Sidra enjoys cooking, playing video games, hiking, and being a plant mom.

  • Stephanie Osawaru was born in Nigeria and raised in Philadelphia from the age of 3. From childhood, she’s always known that she wanted to be an OB/GYN. As an undergraduate at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, she did nursing as her pre-medicine degree, then went on to pursue her M.D. at St. George’s University School of Medicine. In her free time, she loves to sing, create new healthy recipes, and spend time with family and friends. As a proud Philadelphian, she also enjoys trying local restaurants and enjoying all that the city has to offer.

PGY-2 Residents

  • Erika was born and raised in Pittsburgh and loves to root for her hometown black and gold teams as much as possible. She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Allegheny College and then pursued her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. When not in the hospital, Erika loves to spend as much time as possible outside which includes running, hiking, and scuba in the summer and skiing in the winter.

  • Lindsay is a native Jersey girl born and raised in West Caldwell, N.J. She attended undergrad at Penn State where she quickly discovered her love for college football. You can still find her on her fall weekends off cheering on the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium! She recently became a homeowner of a beautiful condo and lives with her two cats spunky cats, Ross and Carter. In her spare time, she likes to hike, go to the beach, travel, and workout.

  • Khooshali was born in India and moved to the U.S. when she was two years old. She grew up in northeast Ohio where she completed her schooling, undergraduate, graduate, and medical school studies. She is very excited to transition to the Philadelphia area for residency and explore the city! When not working, she loves to cook, bake, hike, ski, travel, and break a sweat with Peloton and Orange Theory Fitness!

PGY-3 Residents

  • Rachel was born and raised in Pittsfield, MA where she spent her young years experimenting in the kitchen with her grandmother and earning her red belt in karate. At a young age, she always saw herself becoming a doctor and a junior year anatomy class solidified this. After high school, she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she studied Kinesiology. She then went on to receive a Master’s degree at Georgetown University and worked outside of Washington, DC in military medical research. A few years later, she returned to school and attended the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine to study medicine. Obstetrics and Gynecology just felt like a completely natural fit for her. On her days off, you'll find Rachel continuing to experiment in the kitchen with cooking and baking. She also loves watching her two favorite sports: hockey and stock car racing.

  • Srijita was born in Melbourne, Australia, and grew up in Southern California. Although she is a beach and sunshine person, she has grown to love the snowy parts of the country. She completed her undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Ohio, and completed her 3rd and 4th years of Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) in Michigan, and now residency in Philadelphia! Her interest in Obstetrics in Gynecology sparked during her medical school rotation, but she realized her passion for women's health and family planning by observing its impact during her global health elective in Uganda. Traveling to different corners of the country and world is one of her favorite activities, although she also enjoys spending her free time curling up with a new book or an old episode of Friends.

  • Athena was born and raised just outside the city of Toronto, so don't be surprised if you hear her Canadian accent coming through!

Following her graduation from McMaster University, she was fortunate enough to spend some time volunteering in Mombasa, Kenya, pursuing her interest in global health. It was while working on the maternity ward there that she first discovered her love for obstetrics and gynecology. She then attended Trinity School of Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Since then, she has called eight different cities home over the last two years, all across Canada and the U.S. and hopes to continue exploring the world in the future. She is a self-proclaimed cat mom to foster cats in need, and when she's not at the hospital, you can find her hiking the nearest trail, seeking out a new campsite, or at the nearest hot yoga studio, sweating it all out.

PGY-4 Residents

  • Erin was born and raised in Omaha, NE (honestly, it really isn't for everyone). She followed in her father's footsteps of becoming a graduate of Iowa State University's College of (Chemical) Engineering, but along the way was brought back to my original calling in medicine. She attended Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where she found her passions in OB/GYN. In Erin’s free time she enjoys weight lifting, walking/hiking/blading with her dog Leo, enjoying fine (cheap) wine, and baking delish cookies.

  • Natalie is originally from New Jersey and went to Med school in both Australia and New Orleans.  She’s happy to be back in the Philly area for residency.  In her free time she  enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants and bars all around the city, and heading to the beach whenever she can.

  • Brett was born in Mountain View, CA and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate, where she was a Gender and Women’s Studies major. She completed a post-bac program at Mills College in Oakland, CA, before earning her combined MD/MPH at St. George’s University. Brett is especially passionate about Family Planning and approaching patient care with an orientation toward social justice. When she isn’t at the hospital, you can find her hiking in the mountains, gardening on her patio, cooking up something new in the kitchen, or spending quality time with loved ones.
