“Top Doctor” Joins Crozer Health’s Rheumatology Team

Ritu Khurana, M.D., has joined Crozer Healthteam’s rheumatology department.

The rheumatology care team at Crozer Health is focused on treating patients with autoimmune diseases causing joint pain and swelling.

“My personal philosophy is to build a long-term doctor-patient relationship through trust and through educating my patients as much as possible about their illness or condition,” says Khurana. “I encourage my patients to actively participate in their care so they can realize the best possible outcome.”

Khurana has been recognized for her outstanding work in the field of rheumatology. She was named “Top Doctor” in her specialty in 2013 and again in 2017 by Main Line Today, and was included in Marquis Who’s Who in 2010 and 2017.

Khurana is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She holds a certification from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Temple University Hospital. She trained at Louisiana State University Health Science Center-Shreveport, completing her residency in internal medicine in 2004 and a fellowship in rheumatology in 2006.
